This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Hello hello! Welcome to my online gallery of sorts!
I am a portrait photographer at a small local studio about fifteen minutes away from my house. I’ve worked there for just over seven years now and will continue to until the doors close or I buy it. I shoot some of the sessions but my main job is to assist in the studio and then do all the post production work.
While I did go to school for photography (after switching from a visual communications/marketing major) and learned a lot I have found the school of hard knocks to be the best teacher.
Why is most of my gallery of macro shots of flowers if I’m a portrait photographer you ask? Well, for one I don’t really feel comfortable putting my customers up here. I also don’t fully own those images, the studio does. So the only portraits I put up are shot outside of work and are usually friends and family.
I’m here to network, learn, and share what I know. Feel free to critique my work and or ask for input on your own.
Wow... life has been busy. Raising a very busy and way too smart for his own good toddler and getting control over my out of control clutter around the house. With the economy as ugly as it is I now have the time to do something about it since I'm not working very many hours a week anymore... a good and a bad thing. (yay for the extra time to spend with my son and get control over the house ... bad because well lack of needed income) We are really hoping that we are going to be able to survive this with our noses still above the water. Treading water gets tiring and stressful.. but you do what you have to because sinking really isn't much of a choice.
Anyways... I should be a bit more active on here again in the next few weeks. Just need to finish painting and decluttering the basement and the bedroom... and then the house is mostly ready to show if it comes to the point of having to sell it.
